NOTE: Only the AVI video format and the WAV File Record options supports more than 2 channels, if a 4 or 6 channel option is selected here for other formats then only the first 2 channels will be included. Select the audio mix from the dropdown box next to Audio in Recording Setup MAB: 2 Channel Master + 2 Channel A + 2 Channel B (6 channels) MABC : 2 Channel Master + 2 Channel A + 2 Channel B + 2 Channel C (8 channels) MABCDEFG : 16 channels

MA: 2 Channel Master + 2 Channel A (4 channels)

Select from the dropdown a free device and channel on an audio device (such an ASIO audio interface) To enable the A to G buses, do one of the following in Settings -> Audio OutputsĢ. The Master mix is enabled at all times however, the A to G buses will only be enabled if a device is selected from the dropdown. The output of this audio mixes can also be independently selected for the Recording, Stream and External Output as described below. I've also read that you can produce some sort of resisitive audio combiner to combine the two inputs.VMix supports eight independent stereo audio mixes or buses called Master (or M), A, B, C, D, E, F and G. I have read that I could use a mixer to mix the two inputs which would allow me to switch between the two without flipping a switch but this seems a little overkill though I'm not against buying a mixer. I want to be able to switch between the two inputs without having to use a manual switch. I've been reading online (and in these forums) that it is a bad idea to connect the two together using phono splitters or y cables that are designed to split outputs rather than combine inputs as this causes serious attenuation on the inputs (which I've experienced) and can possibly damage the speakers. The Chromecast audio can give me a 3.5mm, RCA phono or digital optical output. Currently I have the TV's digital output connected to a small DAC that has an RCA output.

I wish to either listen to the Chromecast audio or the TV individually. I have an old Bang and Olufsen system (Beosystem 2500) which only has one available input that I wish to connect a Chromecast audio and my TV to.
